Rain ruin the 4th day.....

The 4th day of the 2nd Test match between Sri Lanka and West Indies at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo was not played as the heavy rain in colombo. As the rain, hole day the pitch was covered. First 3 days of the match were disturbed bys the rain and the bad light conditions at the last sessions of the days.  

After winng the toss Sri Lanka bat first and scored 387/9 and declared yesterday. Sri Lankan skipper K. Sangakkara scored his 24th test hundred and he out for 150 (268). Thilan Samaraweera scored 80 (170) and made a partnership of 170 runs with skipper. For the batting P. Jayawardene scored 34 (57) and A. Mathews 25 (40). For the bowling K. Roach took 5 wickets for 100 runs.

When the match stopped as 3rd day West Indies got 165 for 5. New player D.M.Bravo got 80 (129) and C. Gayle 31 (30). Sri Lankan fast bowler Suranga Lakmal who starred his 1st test took the C. Gayle's wicket as his first test wicket. for the bowling T.Dilshan took 2 wickets for 4 runs.
